Serves as the Chief of Construction & Survey Section for the Lake Michigan Area Office (LMAO) Kewaunee Sub Office, Engineering and Technical Support Division, Detroit District, primarily responsible for Corps of Engineers initiated projects under various USACE Civil Works (CW) Continuing Authorities Programs (CAP) located in Kewaunee, WI. Section Chief with supervisory duties for construction personnel and hydrographic survey crew; occasional team leader for interdisciplinary project teams. Serves as Contracting Officer Representative (COR), providing office engineering support for projects throughout the wide geographical area assigned to the LMAO Sub Office.
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances may be authorized subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government interest.
This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at level I within 24 months on entrance on duty.
